Venue: Strathmore Park Community Centre, 108 Strathmore Avenue, Strathmore Park
Scheduled dates: Labour weekend, Saturday 25th to Monday 27th October 2025
Scheduled times: Two rounds per day at 9:30am and 2:30pm
Format: A Single Six Round Swiss tournament
Time Control: 90 minutes for the game with an additional 30 seconds per move starting from move one
Rating: FIDE and NZCF rated
Eligibility: Open to all, except that non NZ residents must have a FIDE ID
Entry fee: $70
Limited Entries: Only 64 entries will be accepted
