Blitz Champs 2026

Thomas van der Hoorn won the 2026 Blitz Champs, held on club night on October 1st. Thomas scored 4.5/5 in the final round robin, giving up just one draw to Matthew Keith. Matthew and Ryan Winter came 2nd= with 3.5/5. Alex Coates, Aadhav Dhamodharam and Bill Forster made up the rest of the final field using the traditional qualifying system of top two players from each of three (this year) qualifying round robins. Aadhav and Bill actually only came 4th and 5th in their qualifying group, but neither Nic Croad, Edgar Benitez or Lucas Qu were available to carry on!
